A few of us ordered the steak and absolutely loved it, and the others had the ribs which were incredible too. I always enjoy visiting Lone Star at Alexandra Park, Greenlane. Another awesome experience!"

May 15, 2026"We were really impressed with the service from the young staff - their mannerisms and attentiveness were impressive, we couldn’t fault them, we never had to look for staff to order something else. Our meals were delicious, our meat was perfectly cooked and the portions were good size. A great atmosphere, they have different sections to cater for different sized groups. This isn’t our closest lonestar but our favourite. I would recommend this store and we will definitely return.."

May 12, 2026"I always go to Lone Star for special occasions, and one in Alexandra Park is the best Lone Star in Auckland. The view to horse track is always the best to enjoy the food. Great service and beautiful steak they have... it cooked perfectly as per requested."

Apr 19, 2026"Really nice tastie food and well presented. Friendly staff. Good decore. Some food a bit pricey. Had trouble finding a carpark. One other restaurant was very fill. Also Easter show was on some people going there may have parked there but not sure even fresh choice was fill as well."

Apr 05, 2026"We had a Christmas luncheon for 30 people at this fabulous Lone Star restaurant. The food was exceptionally good, full range and big plates. The burger I had was one of the very best. The prices were very reasonable, especially when you see the size of the plates. The service was exceptionally good, (Dev in particular was great) and we did not have to wait for drinks, plus the food came out fast & hot. We booked two long tables on the Verandah and the sunny views with open windows was simply brilliant. The ambiance of this restaurant is exceptionally good ( a hidden gem) and because our large group could not find a fault with anything, plus we enjoyed the food & exceptionally good service very much, we have decided to book again for our next Christmas luncheon in December 2026."

Mar 26, 2026"Came for a birthday dinner last night. Food, service and atmosphere were all good, however the prices are very high. I enjoyed my fish and chips @ $35, but who charges $49 for a sirloin steak when you can feed 2 people for $15 at your local supermarket?!"
